Hi, I am Clifton Smith!

I started Good Guys Graffiti Removal in August of 2009. A big question I get asked is, why? Well when I was 14 I started volunteering with my local Police Department as a police explorer, and a few years into that, we started doing graffiti removals around the city with one of advisors. We got to one area that was in the city, it was a building that had some pretty big tags on it. We were only doing paint overs so we couldn’t just go over and paint masonry very well so I started researching what the best way to remove graffiti from masonry is. I found it. I started Good Guys, and right from the beginning I had some business. The night after I got my business license some kids went around with some spray paint and tagged some of my neighbors cars. One already removed it but most hadn’t. So I went to my neighbor who just had her new Mazda that was 2 months old tagged. I told her the news and offered to help remove it for free. I did, and that is that first picture on our home page. But I didn’t stop there I went to the business owner who had tags on the masonry, I went to him also offering to remove it for free just to test my product. And that was the only time I was ever talked up in price by a customer he insisted he paid me for my work.

That’s what Good Guys Graffiti Removal is about. Not making money but helping our community and our neighborhood.
